Operations by trade. Marketing by craft. Code by obsession. Thirteen years of making things run — and lately, making the software they run on. The board (him) and the shareholders (also him) remain confident in the strategy: keep the floors running, keep the numbers honest, and ship free software at a loss that rounds to zero.
The undersigned operator began on a shop floor in 2011 and has since refused every opportunity to stop. Operations taught the discipline; marketing taught the craft of being judged by numbers; code — adopted late, pursued obsessively — taught that the systems in his head could finally be typed out.
This report covers the full period. Nothing material has been omitted, except modesty.
